Wife of the late Mohammed Abdul Rahim, she stood solidly in support of her husband’s social service activities. Inspired by his drive, our pillar of support has taken to social service in a big way and is doing her bit to take forward the initiatives of RR Foundation.
In his youth, Mr. Mohammad Shamsuddin achieved glory in several sports disciplines, including rowing, canoeing, kayaking, cricket and mountaineering. He represented Osmania University in inter-varsity cricket tournaments and was in the Andhra Pradesh Rowing and Canoeing squads during the 1985 and 1989 National Games.
Since joining Snaps India under the guidance of his father and eldest brother, Mr Mohammad Shamsuddin has covered several national and international events from diverse fields as a professional photographer. He won laurels while covering several such coveted assignments. Some of the prestigious ones include cricket Test matches in India and England, the ODI World Cup in Sri Lanka, Grand Slam tennis championships, Dubai International Balloon Festival, Commonwealth Games at Manchester, IIFA Awards, Dubai International Film Festival, Arab Strategic Forum in Abu Dhabi, Dubai international Air Show ,World Newspaper Conference at Cape Town, OPEC Extraordinary Conference at Abu Dhabi, Incheon Asian Games in Busan, and FIFA Club World Cup at Doha, London Olympics, The Arab International Women’s Forum (AIWF) Cairo Egypt, ATP & WTA European Circuit, Australian grand slam, PNB Paribas Paris france Stockholm’s Tennis Open, China Open Tennis, Shanghai, World Games Wroclaw POLAND, to name a few. The spirit of charity and lending a helping hand are ingrained in his mindset.
A senior journalist and editor of Snaps India, he has contributed immensely to photo journalism in India and is a recipient of numerous honours, including the one instituted in the memory of late Mohammed Abdul Rahim, which Mr MohdShoukathHussain cherishes most for the emotional and sentimental value it holds.
He is another eminent photo journalist from the family in which photography is in the genes. Mr Mohammed Abdul Khader has worked with many leading Urdu daily newspapers, including Siasat, and is presently with the largest circulated Urdu daily, Ethemaad.
Editor of Snaps India News Agency’s Toronto office, Mr. Mohammed KhajaMoinuddin has several business interests in Dominican Republic, United Arab Emirates and North America apart from in India. Being a firm devotee of Allah, the Almighty, he believes that charity is integral to Islam and the noblest path to achieve the blessings of Allah.
As the Editor of the United States’ office of Snaps India News Agency, Mr. Mohammed Jaffer was among the privileged media personnel to accompany the then President Barrack Obama during his India tour. He also has the distinction of being the first Indian-American to accompany Bill Clinton during his Indian tour in 2000. A photograph of Clinton addressing a gathering at Sabarmati Ashram in India taken by Mr Mohammed Jaffer adorns the walls of the elite President’s Library. He was also on the entourage of President Donald Trump when he visited India.
A journalist, who earned laurels for his superb pictures while working for the premier English daily, The Hindu, Mr Mohammed Yousuf has received many awards and recognitions in a hugely successful two-decade career before deciding to settle down in Australia. He considers charity as a part of religious rituals and believes that by serving the needy one is accomplishing the duty bestowed upon everyone by Allah, the great.
As a journalist, Ms. DurdanaArshi has extensively covered many national and international events. As part of her job, she has travelled across the globe. Having witnessed agonies of hapless people and poignant life stories and visibly moved by what she saw, and being fortunate to see the nobility of Rahim Saab, MsArshi decided to go into social service. Now she is spending most of her time for the benefit of the poor and does a lot of charity.
